Resubmissions, including Conditionally Accepted resubmissions, should be submitted to the RFS system for new submissions, resubmissions, and appeals. Resubmissions must adhere to the formatting guidelines for Initial Submissions.

When submitting a resubmission, please include separate documents for the Reply to Referee(s) and Reply to Editor. If you have replies for two or more referees, each referee reply should be contained within its own document. It is fine for the Reply to Editor document to contain the replies to referees, but the Reply to Referee document should not contain the Reply to Editor.

This formatting applies to all Reply to Referee letters unless otherwise instructed by the editor.

The reply letters to the referees should be anonymous.

During resubmission, you will be asked to suggest an editor. If your original editor has completed his/her term, you may select his/her name for one year after the end of the term. If the editor is unable to handle the resubmission, it will be reassigned. If your previous editor is not in the list, you may select the Executive Editor and the resubmission will be assigned to the original editor if possible, or reassigned if necessary.
